Avaz Radzhabov began his creative career in 1975 at the Samarkand Opera and Ballet Theater. In 1981 he graduated from the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute. Since 1994 he has been working at the SABT named after A.Navoi. He established himself as a singer-actor of bright personality and broad creative range. His voice of a lyric-dramatic baritone of a rich timbre and full range, as well as an actor's temperament, plastic looseness allow Rajabov to perform equally well both the roles of a high tragic beginning and a parties of powerful, insidious natures. He takes an active part in the festive concerts devoted to the state holidays of Uzbekistan. Repertoire: Esquamillo ("Carmen" by J. Bizet) Zurga ("The Seekers of Pearls" by J. Bizet) Germont (“La Traviata” by G. Verdi) Amonasro ("Aida" by J. Verdi) Renato ("The Ball Masquerade" by G. Verdi) Valentin (“Faust” by Sh. Gounod) Enrico ("Bell" by G. Donizetti) Silvio, (The prologue of "Pagliacci" by R. Leoncavallo) Figaro ("The Wedding of Figaro" by W.A. Mozart) Figaro ("The Barber of Seville" by J. Rossini) Eletsky ("The Queen of Spades" by P. Tchaikovsky) Onegin ("Eugene Onegin" by P. Tchaikovsky) Robert ("Iolanta" by P.Tchaikovsky) He is the owner of the Grand Prix and other awards at the International competitions held in the USA, Turkey, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, etc. 2009 was awarded the title of "People's Artist of Uzbekistan".
