Azizova Gulshan was born in the city of Samarkand. In 1982 she graduated from the Samarkand Art School. In 1988 she graduated from the vocal faculty of the Moscow State Conservatory (class of the People's Artist of Russia, Prof. Pisarenko G.A.). Since 1989, she has been working in the State Academic Bolshoi Theater named after A. Navoi as a soloist of the opera. Repertoire: Amelia ("Ball Masquerade", J. Verdi) Mimi (“La Boheme”, G. Puccini) Tatyana ("Eugene Onegin", P. Tchaikovsky) Desdemona (“Othello”, J. Verdi) Liza ("The Queen of Spades", P. Tchaikovsky) Santucca (“Rural Honor”, P. Mascagni) Margarita (“Faust”, S. Gounod) Marjana ("Ali Baba and 40 robbers", V. Milov) In 1977 - the laureate of the XII competition named after M. Glinka. In 1993 - laureate of the First International Competition of Young Opera Singers in Perm. In 1997 she was awarded the title "Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
