Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Slonim Andrey Evseevich was born in Tashkent. In 1974 he graduated from the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute named after A. Ostrovsky. He has staged more than 45 performances, among them "La Traviata" by J. Verdi, "The Barber of Seville" by J. Rossini, "The Wedding of Figaro" and "The Magic Flute" by V.-A. Mozart, “Floria Tosca”, “Madame Butterfly” and “Gianni Skiki” by J. Puccini, “The Queen of Spades” (Moscow, Theater-Opera of the Music Academy named after Gnessins) and “Eugene Onegin” by P.I. Tchaikovsky, “Boris Godunov” by M.P. Musorgsky, "The Road to the Throne" by N. P. Zakirov based on the Shakespearean tragedies "Hamlet" and "Macbeth" (author of the libretto, director, stage designer), “Aleko” by S. Rachmaninov, "Mavra" by I. Stravinsky, "The anti-formalist paradise" by D. Shostakovich and many others. Since 1990, he is the director of performances of the Bolshoi Theater named after A. Navoi. He is an author of scenography and costumes for ballet performances "Spartacus" (Bolshoi Theater named after A. Navoi) and "Don Quixote" ("Toyota City Ballet", Japan). He is a member of inter-theater and international projects, as well as organizer, director and participant of many theatrical concerts, combining music and a poetic word. He has performed extensively and actively as a performer of poetic lyrics - from Pushkin to Pasternak. Fruitfully engaged in poetic creativity - his poems are regularly published in republican magazines, poetry collections, almanacs. He is co-chairman of the literary and creative association "Istoki". The organizer and artistic director of the Youth Theater-Studio "Jugendstern" at the German cultural center of Uzbekistan, where the following performances were staged: Goethe's “Faust”, G. Grass's “Country of November”, Shakespeare's “Twelfth Night” and “Hoffmanian's” composition by A. Slonim based on works of Hoffmann. In 2006, he was awarded the title of "Honored Worker of Culture of Uzbekistan". In 2016 he was awarded the title of "Honored Worker of Art of the Republic of Uzbekistan"

Передаю большой привет Андрею Слониму.Мы учились вместе с ним в школах Ташкента и закончили 110-ую. Оттуда началась его творческая деятельность. Это были и фильмы, и спектакли.
