Master classes in ballet art with Danil Salimbayev (Russia) - Chief choreographer of the Opera and Ballet Theater in Cheboksary

In the period from June 16 to June 25, 2016, the State Academic Bolshoi Theater named after Alisher Navoi hosts master classes in ballet art with Danil Salimbayev (Russia) - the Chief Choreographer of the Opera and Ballet Theater in Cheboksary. Danil Salimbayev is a winner of international competitions. He was born in 1971. He graduated from the Perm Choreography School and the ballet department of the Russian Ballet Academy named after A.Vaganova (class of People's Artist of the RSFSR Professor N.Boyarochnikov). He was the soloist of the ballet of the Perm Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after P. Tchaikovsky, the Mikhailovsky Theater, and was artistic director of the ballet troupe of the Opera and Ballet Theater of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.Rimsky-Korsakov. He worked as executive director of the III open competition of young choreographers named after F.Lopukhov in St. Petersburg. He is an author of more than 50 concert performances for artists of the Mariinsky, Mikhailovsky and other theaters and choreographic schools in Russia. Since April 2011 he is an artistic director of the ballet troupe of the Chuvash State Opera and Ballet Theater.
