The world of magic music

The first time in the history of the State academic theater this kind of event took place. Every year, not in Tashkent, but in Vienna, in Austria, on the first day of the New Year, the Vienna Opera performs a symphony orchestra with magical music. There is a live broadcast on television to many countries. Listening to this music after the New Year, when it's time to calm down and relax, is an incredible pleasure. How many times I dreamed of being in the hall, in a chair, preferably in the stalls, and ... such a miracle happened. The State Academic Bolshoi Theater named after Navoi made a gift to the audience.

In Vienna, it costs a fortune to get to such a concert. In Tashkent, the concert of the symphony orchestra really turned out to be a gift. Admission is by invitation only. Most of the invitations were played on the Internet. In general, the magic music sounded for fans and connoisseurs. Polkas and waltzes by Strauss, music by Khachaturian, Tchaikovsky, Puccini, famous Italian melodies... The audience clapped their hands, applauding. The performance of the orchestra of the theater, the conductor, the opera soloists was at the highest level.

Can such concerts become a tradition in Tashkent? Certainly. We are as good as the Viennese. We can apply a famous T.V. advertisement here – YOU DESERVE IT. Certain restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic period affected the current concert. The administration of the theater is forced to provide the audience with a social distance. The number of viewers was limited. But whoever entered the auditorium and took his seat in the chair, he inhaled and absorbed the music of joy and happiness.

There have been several surprises in the concert program. One of them is the appearance of tenor soloists. "O sole mio" is a Neapolitan song performed by four tenors of the theater. The theater administration decided to surprise the audience and did not announce their performance in advance.  These four tenors started their performances from the different parts of the building.

"Radetsky's March" have been played at the end of the concert. The march was written in 1848 by Johann Strauss the Elder in honor of Field Marshal Count Radetzky. One of the most famous works of Strauss, adored by the public.

The Viennese audience is sure to clap. The conductor, like an orchestra, tells you where to turn up the volume, where to turn it down, and where to just listen. The Tashkent audience joined in the performance with pleasure. Everything is in the best traditions.

Needless to say, the music was magical.
