OPEN AIR in BOLSHOI THEATER

Organizers of the new format show, along with the State Academic Bolshoi Theater named after Alisher Navoi, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the support of TOP Congress company, will open the next 88th theatrical season in the new, unusual for the country, but popular in the world format - OPEN AIR. It is with the Symphony OPEN AIR that the project, unique for the theatrical art of Uzbekistan, is launched, designed to revive the spectator's love for classical music, opera and ballet, presenting masterpieces of world classics. "Bolshoi Theatre" invites friends to the fascinating, amazing world of classical music in a completely new format. Two musical evenings on September 9 and 10, 2017 in the open air (OPEN AIR) would hold true connoisseurs of the classics on the square in front of the theater. The event is intended to unite the real lovers in the community and to run a wave of similar cultural events across the whole country. The format of symphonic OPEN AIR is a unique process of concert culture. Musical events of this format are the most memorable shows of world famous festivals in Edinburgh, Berlin, Vienna, Paris, Moscow, Tokyo and Rome. The project will give a new fashion life to the classics. A series of events and the company's future work is focused on the creation of cultural trends and the revival of traditional arts. This, of course, will significantly expand the horizons of the image of the country, and will give an opportunity to declare a new face of our pearl of sand. Theater director Andrei Yevgenievich Slonim, music director and conductor Bobomurod Khudaykulov told on a news conference what to expect from the new trend in the calendar of opera and ballet events in Uzbekistan. In the refined program of each evening there are masterpieces of world classics, original compositions of national classical music of different countries, charming ballet numbers of the Bolshoi Theater. Unusual furnishings, a decorated panorama of the theater square, an exquisite program and a light fleur of classic luxury are what await symphonic music fans this day right on the square at the Bolshoi Theater. Soloists and artists of the SABT Ballet will present compositions of recognized world classics - from Strauss waltz and Tchaikovsky's adagio to contemporary works by Andrea Bocelli's repertoire and national arias from the Uzbek classical opera at the opening of the new season. The whole evening with guests under the virtuoso management of the talented conductor Bobomurod Khudaykulov will be conducted by the Symphony Orchestra of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater named after Alisher Navoi. In general, the Bolshoi Theater starts a new chapter in its history, and everyone who becomes part of this project will be the inspiration and creator of a cultural event of a national scale.
